‘OS X 10.11 엘 카피탠’의 두 번째 개발자 베타 버전이 나왔습니다.
지난 8일 첫 베타 버전이 공개된 이후 보름만에 새 베타 버전이 나온 셈입니다. OS X 엘 카피텐 자체가 요세미티의 뿌리부터 뒤 엎는 방식이 아니라 비교적 안정적으로 돌아간다는 의견이 많지만 그래도 여전히 사소한 버그가 많이 발견되고 있습니다. 당연히 베타버전이고, 베타 기간 테스터들과 버그를 같이 해결해 나가는 방식이기 때문에 늘 있는 일이기도 합니다. 아래 애플이 공개한 현재 알려진 버그에 대한 내역을 첨부해 두었으니 테스터들은 참고하시기 바랍니다.
현재 OS X 10.11 개발자 베타 1 버전을 쓰고 계신 분은 맥 앱스토어를 통해 업데이트를 진행할 수 있습니다. 운영체제 뿐만 아니라 문제가 생겼을 때 운영체제를 복구할 수 있는 리커버리 파티션 영역에 대한 업데이트도 같이 진행됩니다. 새 베타 버전의 빌드 번호는 '15A178w'에서 26단계 가파르게 상승한 '15A204h'이며 업데이트 용량은 약 2.25GB입니다. OS X 새 베타 버전과 함께 iOS 9 베타 2, OS X 서버 5.0 베타 2 버전도 개발자들에게 배포되고 있습니다.

설치 노트
∙ After upgrading to OS X El Capitan Developer Beta, applications that write to protected/system locations may no longer function correctly.
설치와 관련해 알려진 문제점
∙ Directly upgrading from OS X Lion or earlier to OS X El Capitan Developer Beta 2 is not recommended.
∙ Migration from Windows is not supported in Developer Beta 1.
∙ Selecting the ‘Do It Later’ option will not install updates for Standard user Accounts.Aperture의 알려진 문제점
∙ Aperture may quit unexpectedly when attempting to print photos.
∙ The Photos app can be used to print instead.
∙ RAW images may appear desaturated when scaled in the viewer.

∙ You may not be able to enable iCloud Keychain using your iCloud Security Code. Approve from another device to resolve this issue.
iPhoto의 알려진 문제점
∙ Sending emails from iPhoto may not work work correctly.
∙ Exiting Edit mode may cause iPhoto to quit unexpectedly.
∙ Location dropdown menus in the Places view may not work correctly.
∙ Faces may not be detected in newly-imported photos.

∙ OS X El Capitan is the last major release of OS X that will support the previously deprecated Java 6 runtime and tools provided by Apple. Applications or features that depend upon Java 6 may not function properly or will not launch when Java 6 is removed. Developers should move to a newer version of Java as provided by Oracle.

∙ Numbers.app may fail to print to a printer or save to a PDF. Export to PDF can be used as a workaround.
You may be unable to add a new printer via the ‘+’ button in System Preferences. Directly plug in the printer, or find a nearby printer via Bonjour to resolve this.USB 연결과 관련해 알려진 문제점
∙ USB storage devices, including internal SD card readers, may become unavailable after system sleep and require either re-plug or restart to recover.

∙ AirDrop & AirPlay may not work after wake from sleep. Turn Wi-Fi off and back on to resolve.
